Florida theme parks adjust schedules for Halloween season

Theme parks in Florida are implementing seasonal changes for the Halloween period. Universal Orlando Resort has announced reduced operating hours for September. Universal Studios Florida closes to regular daytime visitors at 5:00 p.m. on event evenings to transition for Halloween Horror Nights, which requires a separate admission ticket.

Other parks within the resort are also seeing shorter evenings. Islands of Adventure is scheduled to close at 8:00 p.m. for much of the month, with some exceptions as early as 6:00 p.m. Epic Universe is also slated to close at 8:00 p.m. on most September evenings.

Meanwhile, LEGOLAND Florida Resort is launching its Brick or Treat event starting September 5. The celebration includes the debut of Brick or Treat Street, featuring interactive LEGO Monster homes, alongside themed rides, live shows, and trick-or-treating activities included with general admission through October 31.
