Florida theme parks are implementing seasonal scheduling changes to accommodate Halloween-themed events.

At Walt Disney World, Magic Kingdom has adjusted access for the fall season due to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. On scheduled party nights, general park access ends at 6 p.m., and standard nighttime offerings are replaced by seasonal programming. Disney Experiences CEO Josh D’Amaro noted a modest rise in domestic park attendance, though revenue has increased more sharply due to higher ticket pricing and premium add-ons.

Universal Orlando Resort is also reducing operating hours in September to facilitate Halloween Horror Nights, with Universal Studios Florida closing to regular visitors at 5:00 p.m. on event evenings. Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe are scheduled to close at 8:00 p.m. on most September evenings. Additionally, LEGOLAND Florida Resort is launching its Brick or Treat event, which includes themed rides and interactive activities through October 31.
