Flybondi employees seek legal action over unpaid severance

More than 700 former employees of the Argentine low-cost airline Flybondi are seeking legal action after failing to receive severance payments and voluntary retirement settlements. The affected workers claim that these payments, some of which were formalized through the Mandatory Labor Conciliation Service (SECLO) or before a notary public, have been outstanding for over three months.

In addition to former staff, current employees have reported delays in receiving salaries for June and July, as well as annual bonuses. There are also allegations of irregularities regarding medical insurance contributions. The grievances extend beyond labor issues, with reports of unpaid debts to suppliers, pending passenger refunds for canceled flights, and outstanding tax obligations to national and provincial authorities.

The claimants have called for increased intervention from Argentine regulatory authorities, citing operational concerns and questioning the company's management.
