Flybondi faces operational collapse and judicial embargos

Flybondi is facing a severe operational and financial crisis in Argentina, marked by a total suspension of flights for over 35 days. The airline is currently subject to multiple judicial embargos on its bank accounts due to significant unpaid debts. These include approximately 1.5 billion pesos owed to ARCA, 2 billion pesos in unpaid airport security fees to the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), and various claims from service providers such as La Nueva Metropol and Seal Siher.

The crisis has also triggered intense labor conflict. The Asociación Argentina de Aeronavegantes (AAA) has accused the company's management of years of negligence and abuse, reporting that over 700 workers are affected by unpaid wages, missing indemnities, and the loss of health insurance coverage. Additionally, more than 900 employees have been dismissed or have left through voluntary retirement plans, with many reporting that their severance payments remain unpaid.

As the company's website experiences outages and legal requests for bankruptcy emerge, Flybondi is reportedly considering a judicial debt restructuring process to attempt to maintain its operations and address the growing uncertainty within the national tourism and travel agency sectors.
