Flybondi hit with 320 consumer complaints and fines in Neuquén

In 2026 the Provincial Consumer Protection Directorate of Neuquén recorded more than 320 complaints against low‑cost carrier Flybondi. Passengers cited sudden flight cancellations, lack of information at counters, difficulty reaching phone support and problems obtaining refunds or re‑booking after cancellations.

The authority carried out on‑site inspections at Presidente Perón International Airport and imposed two fines of 178 million and 214 million Argentine pesos, totalling 392 million pesos. Flybondi appealed the sanctions and questioned the province’s jurisdiction, so the validity and collection of the fines are now under judicial review. The provincial agency also criticised the national aviation regulator, ANAC, for not responding to the complaints, prompting the province to step up its oversight.

Affected passengers can file complaints in person at the Directorate’s office in Neuquén city or at its ten regional delegations, or submit them online through the federal single‑window portal.
