FNC hosts major MMA event at Arena Zagreb with U.S. Embassy partnership

The FNC mixed martial arts organization is hosting a major event at Arena Zagreb on September 12. The event features several title fights, including a heavyweight bout where Darko Stošić seeks to challenge champion Hatef Moeil, and a middleweight title defense by Đani Barbir against Piotr Strus.

The card also includes the return of Ivan Erslan, who will face Miran Fabjan. Other notable fighters scheduled to compete include Francisco Barrio, Martin Batur, Hrvoje Sep, Tiriel Luka Abramović, Marko Ančić, and Fran Luka Đurić.

In a unique collaboration, FNC has partnered with the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence as part of the ‘Freedom 250’ campaign. U.S. Ambassador Nicole McGraw noted that the partnership highlights the connection between the United States and Croatia through the unifying power of sport.
