Fo Guang Shan hosts major event at Taipei Dome as Imabari promotes film

Fo Guang Shan will host the 2026 World Member Representative Convention at the Taipei Dome on October 3. The event marks the 60th anniversary of the organization's founding and the centenary of Master Hsing Yun. Approximately 50,000 representatives from 41 countries and 98 associations are expected to attend. The program includes a musical performance titled ‘Love and Hope: Vast Nebula,’ featuring various artists to commemorate the Master's life and the organization's global development.

In Japan, Imabari City is collaborating with the film ‘As You Wish’ (汝、星のごとく) for city promotion. The October issue of the city's public relations magazine features the film's poster on its cover and includes special interviews with actors Ryusei Yokohama and Suzu Hirose. The city is also implementing various initiatives, including a location map and film viewing support for local high school students, to leverage the film's connection to the region.
