Fo Guang Shan to hold massive assembly and concert at Taipei Dome

Approximately 50,000 members of the International Fo Guang Shan Fellowship from 41 countries and regions are scheduled to gather at the Taipei Dome on October 3, 2026. The event marks the 2026 World Member Representative Assembly and commemorates the 60th anniversary of the founding of Fo Guang Shan, as well as the centenary of its founder, Master Hsing Yun.

This gathering represents the first time a religious organization has hosted a large-scale public welfare event at the Taipei Dome since its opening. The program includes a morning assembly followed by an afternoon musical feast titled ‘Love and Hope: Vast Nebula,’ which will feature musical plays reviewing Master Hsing Yun’s life and the global development of Fo Guang Shan.

Performers for the musical event include several artists, such as Xiao Huang-chi, Xu Jingchun, Zhu Hai-jun, Pan Yue-yun, and Hong Kong singer Chen Xiao-dong. The assembly will be presided over by Venerable Xin Bao, President of the International Fo Guang Shan Fellowship, with international guests from various backgrounds, including the Catholic Church, expected to attend.
