Focus and Trek launch new full-suspension electric bicycles

Bicycle manufacturers Focus and Trek have introduced new full-suspension electric bicycles designed to bridge the gap between urban commuting and light off-road capability.

Focus has launched the Aventura² FS 6.8, priced at 4,950 euros. The model features a Bosch Performance Line CX motor with 120 Nm of torque and an 800 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery, with the option to connect an additional battery for extended range. It is equipped with SR Suntour suspension, a 10-speed Shimano Cues transmission, and practical accessories including mudguards, a kickstand, and an integrated luggage rack.

Trek has released the Allant+ FS, available in two versions priced at 4,999 euros and 5,999 euros. This urban trekking e-bike utilizes a Bosch Performance Line CX motor and an 800 Wh battery. It features significant suspension travel—140 mm in the front and 120 mm in the rear—drawing design elements from mountain bikes to handle rougher terrain. The bike includes a telescopic seatpost, Magura hydraulic brakes, and Schwalbe tires.
