Electric bicycle product launches by Focus and Trek
Overview
Bicycle manufacturers Focus and Trek have introduced new electric bicycle models aimed at urban commuting and light off-road use.
Focus launched the Aventura² FS 6.8, which features a Bosch Performance Line CX motor and an 800 Wh battery. Trek released the Allant+ FS, an urban trekking e-bike utilizing similar Bosch motor technology and significant suspension travel to handle rougher terrain.
Following these releases, Trek unveiled the Inbound+ series. This new range utilizes the Bosch Hub Line, marking the company’s first hub motor. The series includes three versions—the Inbound+ 2 R10, the Inbound+ 2 B SO, and the entry-level Inbound+ 2 R8—offering various transmission options including a single-speed Gates Sidetrack belt drive.
