Foggia-linked man arrested for child pornography

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in Montopoli in Val d’Arno, Pisa, to serve a definitive sentence of 5 years and 4 months in prison for crimes related to child pornography.

Investigators determined that between August and December 2023, the individual targeted underage girls via social networks in the provinces of Foggia and Ravenna. The suspect allegedly used threats to blackmail victims, stating he would modify and distribute their profile photographs online if they did not provide sexual images and videos. The arrest was executed by the Carabinieri following an order from the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Florence.
