Fogón Asado named world's best restaurant

Fogón Asado in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has been named the best restaurant in the world for the second consecutive year in the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards 2026. The ranking is determined by millions of guest reviews submitted between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, selecting the top 1 percent of entries from a pool of over eight million listings.

Located in the Palermo Soho district, Fogón Asado specializes in Argentine open-fire grilling. The dining experience features guests seated at a counter surrounding the grill, where chefs prepare courses such as Provoleta cheese, Rib-Eye steak, and Tira de Asado directly in front of them. Diners can choose between a nine-course tasting menu or a 14-course Chef's Counter menu.

Other top rankings include Koma Singapore in Singapore at second place and The Rhythms Restaurant in Hanoi, Vietnam, in third. European representation in the top five is limited to The Witchery Restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland (fourth), and Meat Market in Valencia, Spain (fifth).
