Folgore Paratroopers Brigade honored in Italian commemorative events

The Associazione Nazionale Paracadutisti d’Italia (ANPd’I) is conducting several commemorative events honoring the Folgore Paratroopers Brigade. In Legnago, the 3rd Triveneto Group participated in the celebration of the 8th Paratroopers Engineer Regiment Folgore. The ceremony included the presence of Brigadier General Dario Paduano, Commander of the Folgore Paratroopers Brigade, and featured a meeting of the ANPd’I Presidents' Council to discuss association goals.

In Tarquinia, the ANPd’I Tarquinia section, in collaboration with local authorities, will host the ‘Staffetta degli Ideali’ (Relay of Ideals) on October 21. The event begins at the San Lorenzo Monumental Cemetery with a ceremony to honor fallen paratroopers, including a flag-raising and the lighting of a torch. This torch will then begin a journey toward Pistoia in preparation for the Folgore Brigade Festival.
