Fondazione Santo Versace and Intesa Sanpaolo launch music project in Rebibbia prison

The Fondazione Santo Versace, in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo, has inaugurated the “Un’altra musica” project at the Rebibbia Nuovo Complesso male prison in Rome. The initiative includes the establishment of a professional recording studio equipped with an acoustically treated control room and recording booth.

Alongside the technical facilities, the project has launched a training program for sound technicians. This vocational course aims to provide inmates with specialized skills applicable to various industries, including music, audiovisual production, podcasting, digital content, and event management. The goal is to offer concrete professional competencies to facilitate reintegration into the workforce.

The inauguration event featured Santo Versace, Francesca De Stefano Versace, and singer-songwriter Ermal Meta, who performed a concert for inmates and guests. Officials, including prison director Teresa Mascolo and Intesa Sanpaolo’s Chief Social Impact Officer Paolo Bonassi, emphasized the project's role in promoting dignity, responsibility, and social inclusion through professional training.
