Fontaines D. C. announce new album and major European arena tour

Fontaines D. C. Dopamine Chamber arena tour post-punk album release

Dublin-based post-punk band Fontaines D. C. has announced their fifth studio album, ‘Dopamine Chamber’, scheduled for release on October 16, 2026, via XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford, the album marks a sonic shift toward a more synthetic and experimental sound, moving away from the guitar-centric style of their previous work, ‘Romance’.

To support the release, the band is embarking on a major 20-date arena tour across Europe and the United Kingdom. The tour begins in Lisbon on October 21 and concludes at London’s O2 Arena on November 27. Key stops include Madrid, Barcelona, Bologna, Belgrade, Prague, Berlin, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, and Birmingham.

In Portugal, the band’s performance at the MEO Arena will include a charitable component, with 1 euro from every ticket sold donated to War Child UK to support children affected by war. Tickets for the tour go on general sale starting September 3, with pre-sales beginning September 1.
