Fontaines D. C. debut new songs at first live shows of the year in Spain

Irish band Fontaines D. C. debuted two new songs, ‘Marianne’ and ‘Six Shot Morning’, during their first live performances of the year in Cadiz, Spain. The shows, held on August 7 and 8, featured a 19-song setlist and marked the group’s return to the stage following the death of their longtime manager, Trevor Dietz, in June.

The new tracks reportedly incorporate darker, electronic elements, building upon the musical direction of their previous albums, Skinty Fia and Romance. The band is scheduled to continue their summer tour with headline performances at the Reading & Leeds Festival and Electric Picnic, followed by dates in France, Switzerland, Austria, and the United States.
