Dublin-based band Fontaines D. C. has announced a major headline performance at Slane Castle, County Meath, scheduled for June 26, 2027. The announcement was made during their closing set at the Electric Picnic festival. The show will feature support from Hayley Williams, Damien Dempsey, and Madra Salach.

This upcoming performance follows the band's recent musical milestones, including the release of their fourth studio album, Romance, and the upcoming release of their fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, on October 16 via XL Recordings. The new record is described as having a darker, more introspective direction.

At Electric Picnic 2026, the festival also featured performances by Van Morrison, The Saw Doctors, and Djo. The event concluded with a celebration of local talent, including a stage appearance by the Mayo All-Ireland football champions.
