Football Association of Serbia presidential election may be delayed to November
The election for the new president of the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) may be postponed to November. While a founding assembly is scheduled for October 17 in Stara Pazova, reports suggest the presidential vote could be held at a separate time.
This would mark the fourth consecutive delay for the election process, following previous dates in July, September, and October. An official decision regarding the new date is expected from the Emergency Committee. If the November timeline is confirmed, candidates for the presidency and proposals for the Executive Board must be submitted by October 31.
Currently, Dragan Djajić has served as acting president since March 2023. However, he has reportedly lost his status as a delegate, which may exclude him from running for a full term. No official candidates have been confirmed yet, despite various names circulating publicly.
