Football Association of Serbia schedules Assembly to elect new president

A constitutive session of the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) Assembly has been scheduled for Saturday, October 17. The meeting is expected to determine the new president of the organization, as Dragan Džajić’s mandate is expiring.

Several notable figures are set to join the Assembly. Zvezdan Terzić, the general director of Red Star Belgrade, will take over the delegate seat previously held by Džajić. Former European champion Vladimir Jugović will enter the Assembly as a delegate for OFK Vršac. Additionally, Danko Lazović, the general director of Partizan, will also join the Assembly.

Candidates for the presidency must submit their applications by October 3. To formally run for the position, a candidate requires the support and signatures of at least five delegates from the upcoming 85-member Assembly.
