Ford announces 2027 Bronco updates with new V6 engine
Ford has announced updates for the 2027 Bronco lineup, most notably the introduction of a 3.0-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine to non-Raptor models. In standard configurations, this engine will produce 380 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque, while the Raptor version will maintain a higher output of 418 horsepower.
The 2027 lineup will include new trim levels, such as the Filson edition focused on outdoor lifestyles and the Bronco RTR. Developed in partnership with RTR Vehicles, the Bronco RTR is designed as a high-performance desert off-roader featuring a Wide-Track-HOSS-1.0 suspension, 33-inch tires, and specialized engine tuning. The Bronco RTR is expected to start at approximately $50,495, with highly optioned models approaching $60,000.
Interior and aesthetic updates include the use of marine-grade vinyl for better water and stain resistance, heated steering wheels, and new color options including Field Green, Iron Sands Metallic, and Neptune Blue.
