Forgotten Island soundtrack features H. E. R. and Liza Soberano

H. E. R. and Liza Soberano have released “BRB,” a bilingual collaborative single from the official soundtrack of the upcoming DreamWorks animated feature, Forgotten Island. Composed by Ryan Tedder and Gabriella Wilson and produced by Tedder and H. E. R., the track explores themes of friendship and connection. The song incorporates Filipino elements, including the phrase “babalik ako” (I’ll be right back).

Forgotten Island, directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, is a fantasy adventure comedy rooted in Filipino mythology. The film follows two best friends stranded in the mystical world of Nakali. The production features a diverse voice cast, including Lea Salonga, Manny Jacinto, and Dolly de Leon, and utilizes various animation styles ranging from 2-D anime influences to comic book-style paneling.

The full official soundtrack is scheduled for release on digital streaming platforms on September 18, 2026. Other contributors to the soundtrack include BINI, SB19, and KATSEYE’s Sophia Laforteza.
