Former Belle Property boss Anthony Di Nardo charged with 19 offenses after three more women allege assault

Former Belle Property franchise owner Anthony Di Nardo was arrested on 9 December after a police investigation in Newcastle, Australia. He appears in the Newcastle Local Court on bail and is represented by solicitor Drew Hamilton.

Three additional women have come forward, bringing the total number of alleged victims to eight. Di Nardo now faces 19 charges, including two counts of aggravated sexual assault, three counts of aggravated indecent assault, three counts of aggravated sexual touching, four counts of supplying small quantities of cocaine and intimidation. Prosecutors intend to withdraw five earlier charges, such as sexual intercourse without consent, and replace them with allegations that the offences occurred while the women were his employees.

A case conference is scheduled for September, after which the matter will proceed to the Newcastle District Court.
