Former Morena Leaders Join Mexico's Green Party in Campeche

At least four senior former Morena officials in the Mexican state of Campeche have entered the Partido Verde Ecologista de México (PVEM). The new PVEM state structure names Patricia León López as Secretary of the Woman and Municipal Links, Ramón Gabriel Ochoa Peña as Secretary of Political Operations, Rashid Trejo Martínez as Secretary of Organization, and Raúl Cárdenas Barrón as Secretary of Planning and Territorial Operations. Hugo Mauricio Calderón Arriaga and Claudia Esperanza Villalba Calderón were also appointed to oversee electoral processes and territorial activism. PVEM said the additions bring "women and men of proven worth, with experience and loyalty to the principles of the Fourth Transformation" and are intended to strengthen the party’s organization and territorial presence, marking what the party calls a “new era” in Campeche.
