The adventure game show Fort Boyard will not be broadcast on France 2 this Saturday, August 15. The temporary removal from the prime-time schedule is due to the coverage of the European Athletics Championships taking place in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

France Télévisions has dedicated its programming to the sporting event, which includes nine major finals scheduled for Saturday evening, such as the women's 400m and various relay races. This shift comes during the 37th season of Fort Boyard, which recently saw Cyril Féraud take over hosting duties from Olivier Minne.

Despite the one-night interruption, the show's recent performance has been strong, with a July launch attracting over 2.75 million viewers. The programming change is described as a punctual event to accommodate the athletics competition.
