Epic Games launches Fortnite Community Day and previews Shattered end‑of‑season event

Epic Games ran Fortnite Community Day on May 30‑31 2026, offering free in‑game rewards such as a “Community ’Brella” glider, a silver weapon skin and backblings for logging in during the 24‑hour window. Two Power Hour sessions were scheduled for the day, with the first at 3:30 PM ET (9:30 PM BST, 9:30 PM CEST) and the second at 9:30 PM ET (2:30 AM BST, 3:30 AM CEST), giving players worldwide a chance to earn extra bonuses.

During Community Day Epic Games revealed a preview of the upcoming end‑of‑season live event titled “Shattered,” which will take place on June 5 (US time) / early June 6 (CET). A server‑stress test for the Shattered event is set for June 1 2026 at 1:40 PM ET, and participants will receive 80 000 XP toward the Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass.

Epic also confirmed that Chapter 7 Season 3, codenamed “Runners,” will launch on June 6 2026, a day after the Shattered finale. The Battle Pass features eight new skins, including collaborations with John Wick and Twitch streamer TheBurntPeanut, as well as remix skins of classic characters such as PJ and Slone. The season introduces a rivalry mechanic that lets players join either the Ice King or the Foundation faction, influencing the live‑event experience and future content.
