Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 expands Sprite roster and adds new Sprite Locator tool

Epic Games' Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 centers on a new gameplay mechanic called Sprites. The season now features 91 distinct Sprites, ranging from elemental types such as Water, Earth, Fire and Air to themed variants like Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, Holofoil, Cube and many others. The full list includes multiple sub‑variants for each base type, providing players with a broad collection goal throughout the season.

Alongside the expanded Sprite catalogue, Epic introduced the Sprite Locator, an Extraction Gizmo that marks the location of buried Sprite Chests on the map. Players can unlock three Sprite Locators by completing 17 Sprite Mastery milestones; the tool cannot be found in regular loot chests and is bound to the player’s account. When activated, the Locator highlights chest positions on the HUD and increases the chance of spawning special Sprite variants such as Gold, Gummy, Galaxy and Holofoil. The Locator is lost if the player dies after use, and no additional copies are currently available.
