Forza Italia members protest regional leadership in Marche

Former members and suspended officials of the Forza Italia party in the Marche region have launched a rebellion against the current regional leadership. Led by figures such as Stefano Aguzzi and Giovanni Dallasta, the group has collected 120 signatures to protest against the regional secretariat.

In a letter addressed to national leadership and Marina Berlusconi, the dissidents claim the regional management has been marginalized and that the party is “closed.” They are calling for a regional secretary from the Marche area rather than the current appointment of Francesco Battistoni, whom they describe as an “imposed” leader. The group argues that the current structure lacks local representation and seeks to ensure the party has a genuine Marche-based presence in Parliament.
