Four Castrop‑Rauxel nursing homes rank among Germany’s best
Focus Gesundheit published a nationwide ranking of nursing homes after evaluating more than 11,000 fully inpatient facilities, with roughly 3,600 qualifying for the list. Four homes in Castrop‑Rauxel appear on the new "Top‑Pflegeheime" list. The Altenzentrum St. Lambertus and the Haus am Ginsterweg each earned an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5, and St. Lambertus achieved the maximum care score of 5.0. The Haus am Ginsterweg received a care score of 4.7, a service score of 4.6 and a reputation score of 4.7. The neio Seniorenzentrum Helena and the AWO‑Seniorenzentrum Ickern were also listed, each with a total score of 4.5. The ranking, released at the end of July, highlights services such as short‑term care, single rooms, hospice and palliative care, as well as logopaedic, occupational and physiotherapy offerings.
