Four arrested for fatal beating of Nicola Musiani in Pinarella di Cervia

Four suspects, aged between 19 and 23, have been arrested in connection with the fatal beating of 54-year-old Nicola Musiani in Pinarella di Cervia. The incident occurred during the night of July 18–19, near the parking area on viale Tritone where Musiani resided in a camper. The victim died at the Bufalini Hospital in Cesena on July 22 due to severe injuries, including a traumatic brain hemorrhage.

The suspects, who reside in the province of Forlì-Cesena, face charges of aggravated homicide motivated by "futile motives." Investigators believe the confrontation may have begun following a dispute outside a local nightclub, potentially triggered by a verbal altercation or a provocative look.

Carabinieri investigators identified the group using a complex array of evidence, including dash-cam footage from a nearby truck, public and private surveillance videos, telephone and environmental interceptions, and database cross-referencing. The arrests were conducted by the Ravenna investigative unit and the Cervia-Milano Marittima company. Authorities are continuing investigations to determine if other individuals were involved in the attack.
