Fox News poll shows US voters favor Democrats and demand major change

A recent Fox News poll found that American voters are broadly dissatisfied with the economy and politics, with many calling for "dramatic" or "revolutionary" change. President Donald Trump’s approval rating remains near a historic low, while more Democrats than Republicans say they are highly motivated to vote in the upcoming midterm elections.

The poll gave Democrats a slight edge on the generic House ballot (53% to 46% for Republicans) and on key issues such as income inequality, healthcare, inflation, and foreign policy. Republicans retained modest leads on crime, national security and policing, but were down on affordability and the overall economy. Analysts noted that redistricting efforts could provide the GOP a small cushion in the House, though long‑term implications remain uncertain.

These findings suggest a competitive midterm environment, with potential gains for Democrats if voter enthusiasm translates into turnout.
