France 2’s Télématin Morning Show Posts Strong Audience Share Ahead of August Return

The Télématin programme on France 2 recorded 529,000 viewers from 6:28 a.m. to 9:52 a.m. on 6 August 2026, capturing a 22.7 % market share among viewers aged four and over. The first segment (6:28‑9:11) attracted 558,000 viewers (24.6 % share), while the later segment (9:11‑9:52) drew 414,000 viewers (15.3 % share). Overall, the show maintained its lead over competing channels and showed a modest increase compared with the previous season.

The broadcaster announced that the programme will be refreshed for the new season starting 24 August 2026. Maya Lauqué will return as the main host, with a split format: a 6:30‑9:15 a.m. block featuring the former Damien Thévenot duo, and a 9:15‑10:40 a.m. block presented by Agathe Lecaron from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, Marie Portolano will host the “Maternelles” segment from 9:30 a.m.
