France 5 travel show explores authentic Saint-Tropez

The travel program ‘Échappées belles’ on France 5 is launching its 2025-2026 season with a feature on Saint-Tropez. Journalist Jérôme Pitorin will explore the Var region to showcase an authentic side of the destination, moving beyond common clichés of the jet set.

Accompanied by journalist and writer Alix Girod de l’Ain, who has deep local family roots, the 90-minute episode will focus on the territory, its inhabitants, and local gastronomy. The program is scheduled to air this Saturday, September 12, in prime time.
