France-Algeria flight schedules and prices shift ahead of holidays
Air travel between France and Algeria is seeing significant shifts in scheduling and pricing ahead of the Toussaint school holidays in October 2026.
ASL Airlines has confirmed it will maintain direct flights between Perpignan and Oran. These weekly Tuesday services are scheduled for two specific periods: from October 13 to November 3, 2026, and from December 22, 2026, to January 5, 2027. Service will be suspended between November 4 and December 21.
Simultaneously, travelers are facing a sharp increase in ticket costs due to high demand. Air Algérie has seen prices for routes such as Paris–Algiers rise from approximately €140 to nearly €480 for dates coinciding with the holiday period. Other routes, including Mulhouse–Constantine and Marseille–Oran, are also seeing elevated fares. Low-cost carrier Transavia has reported similar trends, with Paris–Algiers tickets increasing from roughly €102 to nearly €400 for mid-October travel.
