Algerian international flight trends and pricing

Air travel connectivity and pricing involving Algeria have shown varied trends. In early October 2026, flight schedules and costs between France and Algeria shifted ahead of the Toussaint school holidays. ASL Airlines announced specific weekly Tuesday services between Perpignan and Oran for October and December 2026, with a suspension in between. During this period, carriers like Air Algérie and Transavia reported significant price increases on routes such as Paris–Algiers due to high demand.

By mid-October, a shift toward promotional pricing emerged. Air France introduced economy class round-trip fares for travel between Montreal and Algiers, with prices starting at 1,043 CAD for departures through June 2027.

Further promotional campaigns were launched by several airlines targeting travelers from Algeria and Tunisia for travel through early 2027. Air Algérie announced discounted economy class tickets from Algiers to London and Cairo, valid until March 27, 2027. Air France also expanded its promotional reach from Algiers, offering reduced rates to destinations in North America, Asia, and South America. In Tunisia, Nouvelair introduced a ‘Happy Days’ campaign, providing 30% discounts on flights to France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Algeria for travel scheduled until March 31, 2027.

Specifically, Nouvelair launched a limited-time promotional event between October 13 and October 17, 2026, offering up to 30% off select flights to Algeria. The airline noted that while the booking window was brief, purchased tickets could be valid for departures several weeks or months later, subject to varying availability and specific terms regarding baggage and fees.
