Rassemblement National leads 2027 French presidential poll as Mélenchon and Glucksmann tie
A recent Opinionway poll commissioned by Le Journal du Dimanche surveyed 901 registered voters online on 10‑11 June. Across three tested scenarios, the Rassemblement National (RN) obtained the highest support, ranging from 33 % to 35 % of intended votes. Left‑wing candidates Jean‑Luc Mélenchon (LFI) and Raphaël Glucksmann (Place publique) were tied, each receiving between 13 % and 16 % depending on the scenario. Centrist candidate Édouard Philippe captured about 19 % of the vote, while Gabriel Attal scored around 14 % in one configuration. The margin of error is 1.4 to 3.3 points. The poll comes three weeks before a Paris Court of Appeal decision on the RN’s European parliamentary assistants case, adding further political uncertainty ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
