France recalls Italian dry ham sold at Intermarché and Netto over Listeria risk

French authorities have issued a nationwide recall of an Italian dry‑ham product marketed under the private‑label brand “Itinéraire des saveurs” in Intermarché and Netto stores. The ham, sold in 100‑gram plastic trays, was found to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the bacterium that causes potentially severe listeriosis.

The recalled lot (GTIN 3250391204915, lot 26184004) was distributed across France between 6 July and 10 July 2026, with a use‑by date of 15 September 2026. Consumers are advised not to eat the product, to watch for symptoms such as fever, headache and muscle aches, and to seek medical attention if they appear, especially pregnant women, the elderly and immunocompromised persons. Unsold packages can be returned to the store for a refund.

The precautionary measure follows guidance from the official Rappel Conso platform and aims to prevent possible outbreaks of listeriosis linked to the contaminated ham.
