France's Laurent Panifous outlines upcoming end‑of‑life law vote

In a podcast, Laurent Panifous, the French minister delegate responsible for relations with Parliament, explained that the end‑of‑life legislation will be voted on before the parliamentary session ends. A mixed‑parity commission is discussing the text today, with a scheduled debate in the National Assembly during the week of 22 June and a final vote expected by 15 July.

Panifous also noted that the government aims to advance a packed legislative agenda this year, including an agricultural emergency law, a military programming law, reforms to shorten criminal‑justice delays, daily security measures, a postponed constitutional reform for Corsica, and a child‑protection law following recent events in Paris.
