Francesco Guccini: musical tributes held across Italy

Various musical tributes are being held across Italy to honor the memory of the late singer-songwriter Francesco Guccini.

In Altavilla Milicia, the Base Scout San Francesco will host an event titled “Lunga e diritta correva la strada…” on October 24, 2026. The gathering is designed as a spontaneous, collective tribute rather than a traditional concert, inviting attendees to participate with guitars or other instruments to sing Guccini’s songs together. The initiative is promoted by Esperonews, BCsicilia, and the MASCI Community of Trabia.

In Nettuno, a large crowd gathered at Forte Sangallo for a memorial evening organized by the Patto per Nettuno. The event, which was entirely self-funded, aimed to foster culture and debate beyond political affiliations. Organizers emphasized that the evening was intended for all citizens to celebrate Guccini’s lasting cultural impact.
