Francesco Guccini: Tributes and exhibitions announced in Italy

Various cultural events and exhibitions are being organized to honor the late Italian singer-songwriter Francesco Guccini.

In Anguillara Sabazia, a musical evening dedicated to Guccini’s work will take place at Teatro I Soldati. The event, part of the ‘Armonie di un magico Lago’ project, features performances by the Freshwater Jazz Players and Mauro Alessandricanta accompanied by Daniele Borsato.

In Reggio Emilia, the exhibition ‘Francesco Guccini. Canterò soltanto il tempo’ at Spazio Gerra will hold a special extraordinary opening from October 12 to 18 with free admission. The program includes a discussion by journalist Andrea Scanzi on October 12, a seminar regarding Guccini’s literary and poetic contributions on October 16, and a concluding documentary screening titled ‘Tra la via Emilia e Pavana’ on October 18 at Teatro San Prospero.
