Francesco Guccini's revised will leaves estate to wife and daughter

The late Italian singer-songwriter Francesco Guccini left a complex estate that has highlighted potential tensions between his surviving family members. Guccini rewrote his will in 2022, replacing a 2015 version to name his wife of nearly thirty years, Raffaella Zuccari, as his universal heir.

Under the new terms, Zuccari inherits the family homes in Pavana and Bologna, as well as 50% of the artist's economic rights. Guccini's daughter, Teresa, receives the remaining 50% of the copyrights for his songs and books, along with all shares in the company Limentra srl and his most cherished personal belongings.

While Teresa has expressed bitterness regarding the distribution of the Bologna apartment—the site of her birth and a landmark for fans—she has stated she will respect her father's wishes. To prevent potential legal conflicts, Guccini included a provision in his will for a neutral third party, appointed by the court president, to mediate any family disputes regarding the estate.
