Franco Colapinto vows comeback after 15th‑place finish at Monaco GP
Argentine driver Franco Colapinto finished 15th, the last classified finisher, at the Monaco Grand Prix and described the race as "very frustrating, nothing came out." He cited a series of setbacks including an early pit‑stop, a penalty, a red‑flag interruption and collisions involving Fernando Alonso and other drivers that derailed his strategy.
Colapinto will next compete in the Barcelona Grand Prix, where he hopes to improve on the Monaco result. The Spanish‑based circuit will host the seventh round of the Formula 1 season, and Colapinto aims to match his stronger performances earlier in the year, such as seventh in Miami and sixth in Canada. He joins Alpine teammates in a championship currently led by Kimi Antonelli, while the field looks ahead to the upcoming race.
