Frankfurt court hears confession in MPU document forgery case
A former operator of a consulting center for Medical-Psychological Assessments (MPU) has confessed to procuring forged documents for clients at the Frankfurt District Court. The 43-year-old defendant admitted to providing falsified reports, abstinence certificates, and confirmations for first-aid courses and eye tests to help individuals regain their driving licenses.
The indictment alleges that the defendant, working with accomplices, handled approximately 100 cases between 2022 and 2025. Clients reportedly paid 3,000 euros for altered MPU reports and 2,500 euros for fake evidence of negative results from hair and urine drug tests. The defendant stated she began providing these services after being introduced to individuals offering forged documents at a previous assessment center in Hanau.
A verdict from the Large Economic Criminal Chamber is expected in mid-October.
