MPU document forgery case in Frankfurt
Overview
A former operator of a consulting center for Medical-Psychological Assessments (MPU) has confessed at the Frankfurt District Court to procuring forged documents for clients. The 43-year-old defendant admitted to providing falsified reports, abstinence certificates, and confirmations for first-aid courses and eye tests to assist individuals in regaining their driving licenses.
The indictment alleges the defendant and accomplices handled approximately 100 cases between 2022 and 2025. Clients reportedly paid 3,000 euros for altered MPU reports and 2,500 euros for fake evidence of negative results from hair and urine drug tests. The defendant stated the scheme began after she was introduced to individuals offering forged documents at a previous assessment center in Hanau. A verdict is expected in mid-October.
