Frankfurt opens Jewish Academy and Maccabi Campus

The Central Council of Jews in Germany is expanding its educational and cultural presence with the opening of the Jewish Academy in Frankfurt am Main. Inspired by the legacy of scholar Leo Baeck, the academy aims to foster debate and learning through inquiry, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds.

In conjunction with these developments, the Maccabi Campus in Frankfurt is hosting a traveling exhibition to honor Jewish athletes. The exhibition commemorates 17 athletes who died during the Nazi era, as well as those who lived into the 2000s, including Olympic champions Alfred and Gustav Felix Flatow. The campus also features a new escape room designed to engage visitors with Jewish history and memory culture.
