Franz Liszt Academy hosts international musicology meeting

An international musicology meeting was held at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, serving as both a professional exchange for music librarians and musicologists and an academic masterclass. The event also honored the upcoming 75th anniversary of the International Association of Music Libraries (IAML).

Key representatives from various international music repertory projects delivered lectures, including leaders from RISM (musical sources), RILM (music literature), RIPM (music press), and RIdIM (music iconography). The workshop was designed to provide musicology students and PhD candidates with expert knowledge of these essential repertory databases, potentially offering new avenues for research and dissertation topics.
