Frasers Property acquires Cuppage Terrace in Singapore for S$175 million

Frasers Property has acquired Cuppage Terrace, a cluster of 17 conserved Peranakan-style shophouses in Singapore’s Orchard Road shopping district, for S$175 million ($138 million). The asset, purchased from privately held Royal Holdings, serves as a lifestyle enclave featuring a mix of food, beverage, and nightlife offerings.

The acquisition is part of a strategic effort to consolidate ownership near Frasers’ flagship asset, The Centrepoint. This follows the developer's S$392 million purchase of the plot behind The Centrepoint earlier this year. Frasers also owns 51 Cuppage Road, a 10-story office building connected to the shopping complex.

Soon Su Lin, CEO of Frasers Property Singapore, stated that the move enables the company to “unlock synergies across adjacent sites” and contribute to the ongoing transformation and rejuvenation of the Orchard Road precinct.
