He warned that ambiguous management could harm local merchants and called for a balanced dialogue between the church and municipal authorities.

In Cento, Fratelli d'Italia coordinator Alessandro Guaraldi condemned a night‑time brawl outside a bar near the Rocca, where two intoxicated foreigners allegedly assaulted the owner and threatened a woman. Police intervened with a taser to restore order. Guaraldi criticised the mayor for speaking only after the incident became public and said, "Condanno con assoluta fermezza quanto accaduto," insisting that public safety must be a priority and not a political tool.
