Fratelli d'Italia convenes over 250 Sicilian officials at Zafferana Etnea event and oversees Messina council leadership

Over 250 local administrators gathered in Zafferana Etnea for a three‑day "Etna Tricolore" program organized by Fratelli d'Italia. The event, opened by Arianna Meloni, sister of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, featured panels on public administration, health, EU funding, infrastructure and youth policies, with participation from Minister Nello Musumeci and other regional officials.

In Messina, the city council met on 4 July to swear in newly elected councillors and to elect a council president. Former assessor Massimiliano Minutoli emerged as the leading candidate for the presidency, while mayor Federico Basile took his oath. The new council comprises 20 majority representatives and 12 opposition members, reflecting the recent municipal elections.
