Fratelli d'Italia raises concerns over Viterbo cultural‑capital launch and Terni Radio 105 funding

Marco De Carolis, a Fratelli d'Italia councillor in Viterbo, lodged a written and oral interrogation after the launch event for Viterbo's bid to become the European Capital of Culture 2033 drew a mostly empty audience and saw few Tuscia mayors in attendance. He asked the mayor, Chiara Frontini, and the deputy mayor, Alfonso Antoniozzi, to evaluate the event’s participation, explain the municipal role in its organisation, and provide a detailed accounting of all expenses, including venue, services, communication and the fee paid to the communications firm.

In Terni, Fratelli d'Italia councillor Marco Cecconi questioned the use of PNRR funds for a Radio 105 concert planned for piazzale Bosco. He raised concerns about the administrative procedures, the total cost, ministerial approval, procurement methods and the project’s objectives. Regional assessor Michela Bordoni responded by attributing responsibility to senior officials, noting the government’s extended reporting deadline for PNRR promotion, and announcing that three related events would be presented at a forthcoming press conference.
