Fratelli d'Italia to file complaint over hate speech against Giorgia Meloni

Members of the Fratelli d'Italia party intend to file a formal complaint with the Prosecutor's Office and Police Department following a series of hateful graffiti and death threats directed at Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Bologna.

European Parliamentarian Stefano Cavedagna criticized the current state of the city, describing Bologna as becoming “the most anarchic in Italy” rather than the progressive hub intended by local leadership. He noted that the incidents, which included messages such as “Meloni hanged” on walls in via Codivilla, represent a worrying increase in hate speech and intimidation.
